Eliminators sold to Hertz didn't have a vinyl roof... Were there others?
Nope. Just the Eliminators...and cars like mine where owner preference has led to removal of the vinyl top.

Re: Sunroof question

Just two seals. The small one that goes along the back of the sliding panel and just starts around the corner curves and the second felt covered metal one with the bead along the top which goes around the front and both sides of the sunroof opening.

Rear defog is a triangle shaped plug. If I remember correctly it's kind of an orangy red color.

Re: looking for

You're probably going to have to build that one. It's in one of the least common colors with one of the least common interiors coupled with a 3 speed transmission-good luck. It's going to be easier to find one with the options you want and repaint it in your desired color and add a vinyl top if it d...

Can anyone post pics of where they hid their relays?
Have you ever noticed mine? I used industrial strength double sided tape and mounted them to the underside of the gravel guard/splash shield.

I have no idea why this showed up sideways but I can't seem to get it to rotate to the proper orientation. It's not sideways in my phone or computer.

Re: Styled Steel Wheel Restoration Thread

Instead of starting a new thread. This is a good one to bring back. I just bought some very nice original 67 Styled Steel Wheels. The centers are black and have been re-paint and not the best job so I plan to redo them. Mercury offered six different colors for the 67 styled steel wheels. Argent, bl...

Re: Originality check -- 1969 painted pinch weld?

Any semi-flat black like Krylon 1613 would work just fine. You could also use DP90LF or some other catalyzed semi-flat too.

Are same pinch welds behind the rear wheels body color?
