Looks like lot 1050 has "no size" tires, while lot 801 seems to be sporting the "size" version

Re: Possible Silver lining - don't hate, just constructive advice please

I'm all for Hot Rodding and Customizing. So you'll not get any bashing from me. But from a fabrication standpoint, it will be a ton of work to make that Caprice driveline work in your car. I think if it was me, I would find another Caprice or Wagon and swap all that GM stuff into the replacement. Or...

Re: Exhaust Question

I always have a shop bend up a complete system on all my cars. It's guaranteed to fit and like was said, they can offer options. No need to go all out on a stainless system or get radical with 3" pipe and mandrel bends. Just a decent true dual system made to fit the car will last you plenty until yo...

Re: Thermostat housing leak

Fords are notorious for leaking there. Usually the cheap chrome aftermarket versions are the worst. But I've also had the O-Ring version leak as well. Best luck I've had is an original cast iron with a Fel-Pro gasket.

Personally, IMO, ANY leaking is bad because it's not supposed to.

Re: Custom cluster panel bezel in '68 XR7

I didn't do a stainless, but I did strip off the woodgrain and paint the panels instead. I didn't feel the woodgrain worked with the rest of the custom rod flavor that the rest of the car was going in.
