Re: Credit Card breach at WCCC??!!

It's getting ridiculous, every day there's a company getting hacked, now it's Uber turn It's hard to believe that everybody's personal/financial info isn't already in the hands of hackers. Wiki list of hacked companies It already is. It is just a question of when it is your turn to be the victim.

Beware a real GT Cougar will have an S in the vin, not an A.
The Marti report posted is an S vin. The "A" vin in the ad is for a 1966 Mustang not a Cougar.

Re: 1968 XR7G production fiqures

Philip is correct. There has been a revision to the XR 7 G production numbers due to newly found information, similar to 1970 Eliminator production numbers have also been revised.

Re: Radiator...

Mike described removing a 24" radiator when equipped with a manual transmission. Mark added the steps required when equipped with an automatic transmission. If you have the 20" radiator then you will not have the top bracket that Mike mentions, your radiator will have 4 bolts on the sides (each will...

Re: Disaster. No joke.

Did a spray out of Caribbean Blue on a spare fender. Not at all right for the sharply creased body lines of the '71. I think the Bright Blue Metallic (code 6) that's on Neal's car is the right shade of blue. Should be a stunner with a white interior. Code 6 Bright Blue Metallic is the paint code fo...

Re: Marti Report Question

Gary, Information on the Emininger can be found and ordered here. I believe he sends you the original but retains a photo copy of it. You will have to provide a copy of your title or current registration in order to prove that you own the vehicle. The window sticker has some of the information that ...

Re: What does this 351cleveland block Vin # mean

There is but it’s over by where the starter would be. And there was another number by the D2AE-CA. 1 2L4. What does that mean? I was told this was a 72. Do you think maybe it was installed in a car near the end of 72 or the guy just didn’t know it was a 73! It was installed in a 1973, the casting d...

Re: What does this 351cleveland block Vin # mean

The 3 before the H means 1973
The H means Lorain which in 1973 was building Torinos, Rancheros and Montegos.
The 1 after the H means it was a Ford and not a Mercury Montego.
There should also be a casting date around the same area as the D2AE-CA.
