I too could not sit through the entire video but look how many hits it has got in one day! My video has been up for years and has 41k hits, his has been up for a day and has thousands more. Guess I just work on charisma a little.

oops... They bought their wheels from other than WCCC which means no stainless inserts. Still a very sharp car that looks like a decent buy at that price.

If I had been old enough in 1968 to order a new GTE I would option it with the XR-7 package and the 428 CJ. Why the 428? Because it was available with a 4 speed, and in 1968 a real muscle car had a manual transmission.

Re: Scottsdale Auction Week 2019 - Fantasy Bid

I never understand why anyone would bring a run of the mill car to a off day of a super expensive auction. Well bought. Seller could have netted that on craiglist within 48 hours and saved a lot of fees. What fun is craigslist? When I think about selling my car - which I'll never get out of it what...

Re: Scottsdale Auction Week 2019 - Fantasy Bid

Those wire wheels on the red convertible actually de-valued the car...ughhhh....Trucks seem to be the hot item this year. Plain old 1960-1970's Ford and Chevy trucks seem to be bringing $30K to $50K. A buddy of mine (who got his start here at WCCC) is scooping clean local farm trucks for 4 figures ...

Re: Scottsdale Auction Week 2019 - Fantasy Bid

Ouch... Another one that would have lasted only a few hours at that price on CL. Putting my fantasy bid on the Eliminator at $74k unless someone sheds some more light on it.
