Re: 9 Cougars now up for sale

Thats really sad they scrapped the G code. I talked with them in depth the day after he posted and tried to drive into them that the money was in the 2 G code cars no matter the condition. He seemed like he understood and believed me.

Re: 1968 xr7 390 / 74k miles / California black plate / Coming to BaT soon!

In the future, if some one lists DonRush as the person who inspired them to list their Cougar on BaT I will gift that $100 to the winning bidder of said Cougar as an ...

Really? I get around quite a bit in the Cougar community and have never heard such a statement. Care to name said parties? I was around when Marc Ogren and then Jim were using it as a driver.

Re: New Member - Wheels and Tires

Thats Great! The Reason I shared the link is the Legendary wheel will in fact fit the aftermarket larger brakes and the steel wheels we sell will not. The Magstar has a period look and will not rust or have balancing issues like the steel wheels sometimes have. This blue car had to go with the Alumi...

15x7 / 4.25 BS with 225/60 / 15" is what I recommend. Glad you were able to work a deal on that one!

Re: 1968 Std Sold at Mecum

Very hard to recreate one for less money than that and more and more folks want our cars but do not want to sign up for years of labor, heartache, broken promises and financial tension with their spouses. Us Cougar "old timers" are constantly looking backward to the way prices used to be 15 years ag...

Re: 1967 Standard Hot Rod Free Car / Just Pay For $15k Paint Job!

Randy, I think the exterior paint and vinyl roof colour are the only things holding this car back. Unless you love, or are willing to live with, this colour combination, you will need to invest some money in a quality paint job. There is also the fact that many people are hesitant to travel to look...
