Re: 4 track player serial #0001

Don't think so, I thought it was a dark colored 67/68, but then again you're asking someone who couldn't remember where I put the tapes!! I do remember it was in the parking lot at the motel and many of us wandered around looking at cars and talking to the owners. But then again it could have been y...

4 track player serial #0001

It is a terrible feeling when your memory works but the recall mode is broken!! I need some help locating some one I met at the Cougars 50th in Detroit. I can't even recall what year Cougar he had but he had a 4 track tape player that had a serial number 0001. At the time we talked about 4 and 8 tra...

Re: Halogen headlight Conversion

I did this conversion on my 71 using a little different bulb. They were still a 55w low and 60w high with the relay. Improvement was fantastic!! Install was easy and the relay works great as well. I have a voltage gauge instead of the amp and turning on the lights and going from low to high shows a ...

Re: White face gauges

I did them on my 71, as the gauges are deeper in the dash I found the black with faded needles very hard to see. Applying the white face was very easy the hardest part was getting them over the needles, but patience and taking your time works. Plan on painting your needles, and while the dash is apa...

Re: Removing Convertible Body Reinforcing Plate

Leon, I didn't experience any with mine removed, I had it on stands for about 4 months while removing all the aprons, core support and shock towers. I also had an exhaust shop remove it while they put new exhaust on and did not reinstall it. I drove it about 2 months without it and got a replacement...

Re: rim blow switch

I have only done a few of these rim blow switches, they are pretty simple in their design and a real pain (at least for me) to install. It is like a rubber tube with a brass film that travels thru the top and bottom in grooves with a connection that completes a circuit when they connect. It is very ...
