Andy, Your symptoms described here are a little different than what you told me in Morris on Saturday. However I agree on checking the points. When mine turned over for the second time this is how the odometer looked:

Now I'm at 6453 and they are all straight across. Other than obvious wear on the brake pedal I don't think you'll really know for sure.

The old relay is mounted directly to the fuse box by one screw on the left side. It's a little hard to get to particularly if you have tilt away steering due to the vacuum motor. But with a little patience you should be able to unplug the old relay and unscrew it from the fuse box and then install t...

For that much money you'd think they would have installed the front bumper filler pads and installed the rear ones correctly.

I got this from NPD The Mustang shock is 17.6875" fully extended. The original Cougar shock was 18.75" : 1.06" longer than the Mustang. The AMX shock is 20.67" The Mustang Shock was 10.5" fully compressed. THe original Cougar shock was 11.1875" .69" longer than the Mustang. The AMX shock is 12.06" ...
