Re: Group II Shelby COUGAR lettered small block intake manifold S2MS-9424-A

LOL! Too rich for my blood... I don't know what seems crazier, $2655.77 for the manifold, or that some one might have 212461 unused Cougar points? But where are you going to find another one!

Re: Congrats to Dave W & "Blue Boss"

When ever you see him be sure to ask what his favorite color is... LOL! Speaking of that, Dave is coming to Barrett Jackson again this year. Hope to see a bunch of Cougar folks back in the Valley of the Sun.

Re: 67 (390) listed in quad cities area C-L

Need to see the Marti and inspect it but it looks like a great start on a desirable car. No vinyl roof means no rust under the vinyl roof!

Re: AMP Light on, Alternator Charging

Any chance that someone has tried to go to the voltage regulator to hook up an after market ignition (Pertronix etc?) Failing that I suspect that you have a poor connection on the back side of the alternator or a badly frayed wire in that harness. You will see 12 volts under no load with your meter,...

Q Code 351 Cobra Jet Cougar Images needed!

Did you know that there was exactly ONE 1971 Q code Cobra Jet 351C 4V Cougar XR-7 Hardtop produced? It may be the most rare production Cougar ever built. Rob Kinnan is working on a new book about this great engine and the cars that featured it. And that includes a bunch of Cougars. If you would like...

The December 2017 Ride of the Month is Don Stratemeyer's '69 XR-7 Convertible 428 SCJ 4 speed

Today he is retired, but he made his living running his own auto parts store and managing them for others. He lives in southern California and has two grown daught...

Re: Keep the factory radio and add music from your phone?

I am still working on this. We came a cross a very odd problem. The output power measures well on the bench but when we run a live speaker load it just doesn't play as loud as we would like. The chip manufacturer is working on a solution. In hind sight, this is like expecting the new version of Wind...
