Re: New! Version 1.2 Electronic Low Fuel Indicator Kits

Hi Jay, The SSIVR puts out a constant voltage, no pulsing. This is required in order for the ELFI to do what it does. Cougars_R, yes, you could install one of these on a standard but it would require wiring to get the needed signals for the ELFI since a standard has no LF relay or LF relay connector...

Re: Fuel Level Sending Unit

I should add that Bob's ELFI works even better than replacing the thermistor. Thanks Bill. The "even better" part is no flashing at the LF threshold. Re: Cam swop

I have a D2ZZ6250B I bought new back in the day and ran for some years as a young pup. Cam is marked "BV" where the "B" is backwards. Still have it! Was (is) a great cam and is in great shape. Not to muddy the water, but I'd sell it if you were interested Butch.

64-67 Mustang Glass

Not sure if these also would fit a Cougar. Believed to be from 64-67 Mustang. Door windows and rear? windshield. Free. No shipping, would need to be picked up in NJ.

FWIW, never have that problem with my '69, unless I top the hell out of the tank. Leave it to me for my experience to be completely different than everyone else's...

P.S. My pad is a repro, getting the bezel to fit it was akin to a moon launch!

Re: Steering Wheel Pad Restoration

Here is what I did with mine. I had one that wasn't cracked, surface was good, no separation but just warped and out of shape. So I made frame out of clamps and wood that held the sides of the three spokes and the center section in their proper position. In other words I made a die for the pad it g...
