Use Greyhound to ship a hood, it's very inexpensive to ship items like a hood on their buses. I've done it many times. That way you should find a good one that's usable from anywhere in the USA.
I do have a decent hood , ( not perfect ) up here on the Easternshore if you can't find one locally.

Thanks I did not know that you could send stuff via greyhound.....it is a lot cheaper than freight cost....I just did a comparison and it was almost a 1/4 of the truck cost.

Yes, cheaper but takes a little longer. It might sit at a terminal a couple days waiting on the next bus with room head your way. I just had a trunk lid shipped from Washington to Michigan by Greyhound a couple months ago.
