I'm with Steven. It jarring at first, then you warm up to it.

Growing up, a classmate's dad owned an auto repair shop: classic shadetree mechanic-type stuff. In his spare time, he took a '62 1 ton Apache p/u, sold the bed & built a camper body on it. They went all over in that thing in the 70's, then it slowly sank into the earth during the 80's & 90's.

I was looking at Craigslist and there were a lot of old Lincoln stretch limos for sale. It got me thinking that if the frame was built up a bit and you added an F350 rear axle, it would be possible to make a pretty cool car hauler out of one of those. Inverse mullet style: party in the front work out back. You used to see more odd ducks lick that. This one used to be close to me in Stillwater OK in the '90's.

And the old fire truck conversion idea would be cool.

Now that's cool. I really like it! There are plenty of old fire trucks around for this type of conversion.

Very Art-Deco. It looks like something Randy Grubb would build, only not as large. If you don't know who Randy Grubb is, google him.

I was sure I had heard his name someplace. He built this Hot Rod.

To post YouTube videos you only need to past the number and then put the brackets on it.
In this case it would be PnuL9MBBUqQ

Hope that helps you and/or others who didn't know.
