In order to use reproduction SBF engine mounts, you would have to change your engine frame stands to the 1968-70 small block, hard top style. 1967 owners with 289 engines have the same problem. The good news is that the frame stands that came in your convertible, can be sold to guys with 390 or 428CJ.

2.79 is the optional ratio for a Cougar with an 8 inch rear end. Notice that this car is a 302-2V.

Wanted C9WY water temperature sending unit, this is for a 69 351w and was a one year only part, ceramic is a darker color like green...will be stamped 'AUTOLITE' and dated...prefer date of 8K OR L OR 9A OR B...THX KEITH 318-393-1502

Mine used to be hard to reset. I found it was easier if the car was moving, rather than at a stand still.

When replacing those floor pans, reuse those seat risers. Do not buy the reproduction ones, they are for Mustang's and are taller than Cougar floor pans. Cougar bucket seats actually have thicker padding in them than a comparable Mustang seat.
