Re: 67-68 vac motors

You're going to have to be more specific. Pretty much everything in the headlight assembly is available but are these what you're after?

How the 1967 Mercury Cougar and Pontiac Firebird joined the pony car fray

Nothing new but nice piece anyway. https://www.msn.com/en-us/autos/classic-cars/how-the-1967-mercury-cougar-and-pontiac-firebird-joined-the-pony-car-fray/ar-BBYalnc?li=BBnb4R5 Always liked Firdbirds of the era and would take one over a Camaro any day. Bit closer price-wise for Camaro/Firebirds but o...

Re: Radio Restoration??

Funny I’ve always found the USPS to be the most reliable. And on the rare occasion something did happen they cut me a check right on the spot. I had an expensive piece of equipment damaged by UPS and they refused to pay. They claimed it wasn’t packaged properly despite the fact that I made a wooden...

Re: Another "Phase 1" project- UPDATE!

By a "fraction" i assume you mean about 1/3? $50K sounds about to start but you may have to change your name to "Cougar 'The Artist' Bill", get a Fedora and learn to say things like: "Mmm, one does have to learn to look at art, just as you must know French to read a story printed in French. But in g...

Re: Radio Restoration??

Shipping basically unreplaceable parts is stressful for sure. And totally the worst time of year to ship regardless of what carrier used. If I have to use USPS for something like this always try and use 2nd day at least with a signature needed for delivery. And worth insuring it for more that the pa...

Re: fixing the windshield washer

Most likely a failed diaphragm on the pedal pump but worth disconnecting the hose before before the little tee hose connector and pump the peddle at least a dozen times to make sure you don't have clogged nozzles. Then work back as could also be a bad hose. Might get lucky.

Re: Radio Restoration??

Don't know anything about Classic Car Radio but price seems pretty high and your radio looks to be in excellent cosmetic condition. Just a quick search found this place at $425 https://joesclassiccarradio.com/Resto.html which seems to be more the going price for this type of service. Going to cost i...

Re: In process of getting a 1968

Congratulations! Looks like one sweet cat!

Unless there is recent history of a long drive, you're a much braver man than I in your plans to drive it halfway across the US.

How many miles are we talking?
