You could set the exhaust at 22 to be safe, depends on the grind of unknown cam.

Re: Suggestions valve adj. on unknown solid? cam

Setting valves hot is a pain, and I always found to be inconsistent because the parts are cooling during the process. The intake valve will expand about .001 at operating temperature, and the exhaust about .003.This gives you a running clearance of .019 & ..017.The tighter exhaust lash will net you 2-3...

Looks like that is "spot on" and you are good to go. Have you figured out the valve lash?

Re: Serpentine Belt Conversion?

I am running a serpentine belt from crank to alt. to water pump and also have a/c and p/s but they are being driven by a V belt to keep everything turning clockwise.
You can use your alt. adjustment to tighten the belt and there is no jumping around.

Re: Orange peel removal and polishing out on concave surfaces.

You should start with finest grit (2000) and see if this will remove the o/p , usually this works and is easily buffed.

Re: Sway Bar Upgrade?

1 1/8 is overkill. However, the factory bars leave much to be desired. 1" front, 3/4" rear and KYB's or Koni's would make a huge difference. I also did the Arning drop with the upper control arms. Global West 635LB front coils and 175LB rear leafs 1" lower than stock and the Traction master/Shelby ...
