New information on this car: We now know the first owner of the car. The first owner indicates he purchased the car from Van Drisse Lincoln Mercury in Green Bay, Wi. The car was considered a "Demo" car and was being driven by the dealers wife. The car had 4000 miles on odometer when it was purchased. The dealership where the car was purchased is nolonger in business. Because the DSO listed for this car is not Van Drisse, I believe that a dealer trade or swap was done to get the car to the Van Drisse dealership. The first owner states he eventually sold the car to his brother. His brother sold the car to the current owner, but was not able supply a title. We are still trying to work out this situation with the State of Wisconsin.

You can go to www.cougarclub.org and ask about the VIN there. Your question will go directly to Phil Parcells, the keeper of the master registry.
